June 28, 2005

Began work on the F-705 bulkhead assembly. This bulkhead supports the seat backs, seat belts and also provides attach points for the rear wing spars.

July 3, 8, 9, 2005

Completed match drilling of F-705 bulkhead assembly. Deburred all pieces and countersank or dimpled where required. Drill holes to accept snap bushings for rudder cables and wiring.

July 10, 11, 2005

Began fabricating components for the F-711 and F-712 bulkhead assemblies.

July 12, 13, 2005

Finished fabricating and match drilling the F-711 bulkhead assembly. The F-711 bulkhead provides an attach point for the horizontal stabilizer.

July 25 - 29, 2005  Off to EAA AIRVENTURE  at OSHKOSH!

July 31, 2005

Completed the fluting, straightening, deburring and match drilling the halves of the aft  bulkheads. Left - F-706, Right - F-707.

Left - F-708, Right (clockwise from upper left) F-709, F-712, F-710. Completed match drilling the two halves of the F-712 bulkhead and match drilled the tie aft tie-down to the bulkhead. Dimpled the bulkhead and machine countersank the tie-down bar.
