Rivet 2 center section platenuts to spar. Fabricated, drilled, deburred, countersank and tapped the left wing tie down bar. The tie down bar gets platenuts riveted to it, but I will be priming it first.

Begin work on left wing rear spar. Cleco'ed spar reinforcement fork, spar doubler plate and aileron bracket reinforcement plates to rear spar and match drilled. Cut out hole in rear spar for aileron push rod.

Deburred rear spar edges and holes, deburred spar reinforcement plates and machine countersank where required.

Several holes along the rear spar flange need to be dimpled now since it will be difficult to dimple these holes once the spar reinforcement fork is attached to the spar.

Now begins probably one of the most boring but essential parts of wing construction. There are many nose and main ribs for the wings and fuel tanks that need a fair amount of prep work before any assembly can begin. I will be fluting, deburring and checking rib flanges for squareness to rib webs. I will be doing all the ribs for both wings at this time This process will take a while to complete so there will not be any exciting pictures to post.
